“In 2006 I pledged to run my first and only marathon to raise £10,000 for Yorkshire cancer charities. Five years later I am embarking on my third marathon having raised just under £450,000. Inspired, encouraged and supported by my family, friends and colleagues it is now my goal to reach at least £500,000 and finally hang up my trainers. I am joined this year by a dedicated team of fellow Marathon Runners who will help me achieve this goal and they are Andrew Palmer, Bruce Tunstall, Lynn Peacock and Annette Lambert.” Gary Verity
Gary Verity and his team ran the London Marathon on 22nd April and raised a fabulous £65,195.50. This takes him £15,000 over his £500,000 goal.

We were asked to create a logo for a new business. The logo needed to be simple, eye-catching and bright. We did a range of concepts from outdoor based designs to designs that focused on the ‘buzz’.

From Twitter to a Canvas Print.

So I’m minding my own business and having a gander at the latest tweets when I notice a “tweetpic” concerning the Minster, a quick click brings up a glorious picture of York Minster at night by @yorkshireimages.
To cut a long story short we had a bit of correspondence via twitter and it turns out that @yorkshireimages is a very good photographer called Nicky. What happened next is in the picture above – the image being printed on canvas then trimmed and mounted to a hardwood frame and the finished canvas being handed over to Nicky.
